Description
The self-blocking descender Sirius by Skylotec has been developed specifically for use in tree care, height rescue and industry. It combines compact design with excellent handling and high durability. The movement range of the automatically closing lever is particularly small, making it fast, precise, comfortable and safe to work with. The lever has an eyelet which is extremely useful in case of a rescue. For example, a cord can be attached to it to lower the injured person or the rescuer can operate the Sirius simultaneously with a second device. It is approved for use in rescue situations for up to 250 kg.
In addition, the device can remain connected to the harness using a carabiner during the simple, intuitive rope insertion. The smooth running of the rope ensures less twisting and less wear. The device is made of 100 % metal without any wear-prone plastic parts, which significantly increases the service life. With anti-panic function.
