Description
The I'D S self-braking descender from Petzl is designed especially for areas that are difficult to access and for working at heights. Thanks to an ergonomically shaped lever, the rappelling process can be comfortably controlled. Staying in a certain position is no problem with the AUTO-LOCK system - even without using the lever or tying the device. After blocking, the rope can be pulled in. In the event of an operating error, the integrated anti-panic function and safety lock minimise the risk of accidents. The device remains securely attached to the harness even when the rope is inserted. Ropes with a diameter of 10 to 11.5 mm are permitted. The descender device enables loads of up to 250 kg to be handled.
