Description
Compact self-braking descender for professional rope access technicians.It was developed for use in hard-to-reach areas and rescue situations. Thanks to the auto lock system, the release lever doesn’t need to be operated separately for work positioning: As soon as it’s released, the device blocks. By using the cam it is also possible to release rope or to secure the ascent.
This descender was designed to perform the essential functions you would expect from a descender, it is smaller than the I‘D, very compact and intuitive to use. Since the RIG does not feature an antipanic function, it should be used only by experienced climbers.
