Description
With the RIG Repairable, where the main wear parts can be replaced, Petzl offers a self-braking, compact, repairable descender. It was designed for use in hard-to-reach areas and rescue situations. Thanks to the Auto-Lock system, the release lever does not need to be operated separately for positioning at the worksite: as soon as it is released, the device locks.
With the RIG, Petzl forgoes the anti-panic system. This makes the device smaller and more compact than the I’D – however, it is therefore only suitable for experienced users.
