Description

The Reflex V2 is a mechanical belay device that can be attached directly onto the rope – no threading required. It offers consistent friction control and combines the feel of a friction hitch with the efficiency of a compact device. It is suitable for both DRT and SRT systems and can optionally be used with the Chipmunk FLEX Tether. Thanks to its centred rope installation design, it allows for quick rigging and derigging and simplifies system changes. Several components of the Reflex V2 have been improved: the upper connecting elements are more robust and rounded at the points where the rope runs, reducing wear. Their extended shape also better distributes friction across the device. A double spring provides freedom of movement for the upper connecting elements. An opening on the upper axle facilitates cleaning and lubrication. Additionally, the upper plate has been reinforced. The replaceable swivel can be threaded directly onto the rope bridge – providing a short, carabiner-free connection. The Reflex V2 is suitable for ropes with diameters from 11 to 13 mm and is certified to EN 12841:2024 Type C. Features: openable, compatible with Chipmunk FLEX Tether, replaceable swivel.
