Description
The pinch from Edelrid can be attached directly to the sliding D-ring of the tree climbing harness or classically with a carabiner. The device is small and compact and is very well suited for log-falling sets/for safety.
When mounted without a carabiner, you have an excellent ascent stroke due to the low tie-in point when ascending the rope.
The pinch has a panic safety device with override: it is possible to abseil smoothly with low loads and on slopes. The panic safety device can also be permanently deactivated using a screw supplied.
