Description
Work to remove the caterpillars of the Oak Processionary Moth or their hair may only be carried out with appropriate protective clothing. The Versaflo Versaflo Respiratory Protection Kit by 3M Peltor provides tested breathing, eye and face protection – and therefore safe protection from the dangerous hair. Thanks to the light comfort face seal the extremely fine hairs cannot get into the face. The breathing protection prevents them from entering the airways. The Versaflo is also suitable for work on trees affected by sooty bark disease because of the respiratory protection.
The helmet has an adjustable headband for better wearing comfort. The visor with eye and face protection according to EN 166 is included. The Versaflo 306 complies with EN 397 for industrial safety helmets and can be used for tree climbing. In combination with the TR-300 blower unit (also included) the Versaflo 306 forms a blower supported respiratory protective device according to EN 12941. Thanks to the compact, narrow design of the blower, the tree climber can move around the tree as freely as possible.
