Product Details

Description

The Jack is a compact descender designed for working at height, developed for rope access and rescue operations. It enables positioning, ascending and descending on the working rope, as well as lowering and belaying personnel.
The device automatically locks the rope, allowing the user to focus on their task. The movement speed is controlled via a lever. When the rope is unloaded, pressing the cam releases the locking mechanism, so the rope can be pulled through the device without using the lever – for example, when belaying a lead climber or working on flat roofs.
The Jack allows for easy rope retrieval and can therefore also be used for short rope ascents. The device does not need to be detached from the harness when clipping or unclipping the rope. Up to a load of 200 kg, no additional friction is necessary.
The parts in contact with the rope are made of stainless steel. The device can be permanently attached to the rope with a screw if required. The lever and lock can be disassembled and cleaned. A magnetic cam holder facilitates rope insertion.
