Description
The Rescue Basic Kit includes all essential basic components required in addition to the climbing system for a rescue from the tree: a quickdraw sling and carabiner set for transferring the injured person into the rescuer’s climbing system; a sling with a screwgate carabiner for a makeshift chest harness to uprightly secure and stabilise the injured person; a figure-eight descender with a PPE carabiner for lowering, allowing two-person descent without blocking the friction hitch or belay device; and a first aid kit for rapid initial treatment.
