ROPE RUNNER PRO IN LIMITED EDITION SPECIAL COLOUR
The mechanical rope device Rope Runner Pro was developed by Notch in collaboration with the inventor of the original, Kevin Bingham. The device can be used as an ascent device on a single rope (SRT) – for example, for stair climbing – for climbing on a double rope (DRT), and also as a descender. It is made from hot-forged aluminium and stainless steel and features well-thought-out ergonomics and rope-friendly edges. This allows for smooth, comfortable climbing in the tree. The Rope Runner Pro can be installed centrally on the rope. To do this, the device is opened – the so-called Slic Pins (Self Locking Implanted Cotter Pin) hold the device together. Additionally, the Rope Runner Pro can remain safely attached to the harness while the rope is being inserted. The upper bolt is adjustable to accommodate different rope diameters and the climber’s weight. It features a central attachment point for securing to the chest harness, a ball-bearing pulley, and an internal spring.
