The Actsafe ICX Power Ascender is an electric climbing device approved for EN 1891-A ropes with a minimum diameter of 11 mm. As a motorised system, the winch simplifies and speeds up work on hard-to-reach structures and is also suitable for rescue scenarios in emergencies. It is designed to carry up to 185 kg—whether climbers with equipment, materials, or loads. The battery-powered, ultra-light ascent and descent aid enables effortless and energy-saving climbing, making it particularly valuable at great heights. The motorised winch is powered by a Husqvarna B220X battery. In an emergency, control can be taken over via remote control (range up to 50 m). Ground personnel can then lower the winch after the ascent and use it to transport materials up to the climber—be it chainsaws, crown securing equipment, or heavy lifting slings for crane felling. In rescue situations, the remote control can also be used to lower the climber. Additionally, the winch features an emergency lowering function. If the battery is empty, abseiling is always possible. With a separately available B330X battery, the operating range nearly doubles (depending on the weight being transported). The Actsafe ICX is IP55 certified, providing protection against dust and water jets.
