Description
Silky has named the Katanaboy after the katana sword of the Japanese samurai – among other things due to its impressive blade length of 55 cm. In keeping with the character of the sword, the saw blade is forged: soft on the inside and hard on the outside. This principle makes the blade flexible, while the hardened teeth (5 on 30 mm) ensure long-lasting cutting performance. The rubberised aluminium handle is easy to grip with both hands. The Katanaboy offers a strong alternative for those who work from the ground and do not wish to use a chainsaw. It is excellent for cutting firewood or felling garden trees. With an overall length of 1.18 m, even the thicker, lower branches of an old fruit tree are no problem. Transport length is 67 cm in a practical carrying bag.
