With the Protos BT-COM communication system, interference-free conversations are possible. Thanks to Bluetooth, the connection is not disturbed by external radio signals or similar interference. Additionally, ambient noise is dampened by the microphone. One BT-COM unit can be connected simultaneously to a mobile phone and up to three other BT-COM units in series. Two-way communication is possible. It can be operated very easily with just one finger and even while wearing gloves, thanks to the multifunction button. The BT-COM communication system has been designed so that no disruptive cables impede freedom of movement: all the technology is housed within the hearing protection ear cup. Furthermore, the ear cup – like the standard Protos hearing protection cups – can be simply slid under the helmet when not in use. The device can be charged via the supplied USB charging cradle at any USB port.

Protos Control App:
• The app keeps the BT-COM always up to date.
• The app also displays the application areas of the radio system.
• Android: To use the app with the BT-COM, the radio must first be paired with the smartphone.
• Apple: In addition to the smartphone, the app must be paired separately.
• Updates available are shown in the app menu.
