Description

The self-braking descender I’D S from Petzl is specifically designed for hard-to-reach areas and work at height. Thanks to an ergonomically shaped lever, the descent can be comfortably controlled. Staying in a specific position is no problem with the AUTO-LOCK system – even without operating the lever. After locking, the rope can be pulled in. In the event of an operating error, the integrated anti-panic function and safety catch minimise the risk of accidents. The device remains securely attached to the harness even when the rope is inserted. It is approved for ropes with a diameter of 10 to 11.5 mm. The descender allows handling loads up to 250 kg.
