Description

One-handed operable tool for quickly stopping (tourniqueting) bleeding in 4 simple steps. Although tourniqueting has been rejected as a standard measure by all common first aid training for several years, we have included the PAX Tourniquet in our range for two reasons: Firstly, its wide pads and solid construction provide a certain level of protection against injury to nerves or blood vessels, which reduces the risk of amputations. Secondly, it is advantageous to have this potentially life-saving measure available in the event of serious injuries far from professional help – particularly in cases of injuries caused by chainsaws.
On the writing surface located at the end of the band, the application time and other details can be noted. The band does not need to be removed for X-rays or MRI.
