Description
T-shirt made from fair trade organic cotton. The cotton used is grown without chemicals and genetically modified plants and is processed under ecological, ethical and social aspects, such as dyeing of fibers. The high standards of the ring-spun and combed cotton guarantee a comfortable fit without skin irritation.
The "Birch Tree" motif was designed by artist Martin Benedek. For Siberian shamans, the birch has been the tree of new beginnings, light and spring since time immemorial. Its luminous bark symbolizes the reawakening light and it is the first deciduous tree to sprout its leaves in spring, heralding the awakening of nature.
For every shirt sold, Life Tree plants a tree as part of an ecological and social project.

Artist Martin Benedek has a passion for trees. So it's no wonder that he has devoted himself entirely to botany - and (almost) exclusively draws trees. He is the creative mind of the Life-Tree team. His partner Manuel Sanktjohanser takes over the management of the constantly growing company.
The Augsburg team founded Life-Tree in 2009 with the idea of combining fashion and ecological awareness. They want to live a green and healthy lifestyle focusing on social responsibility and provide a space for Martin Benedek's drawings.
It quickly became clear to the two founders that they would only process high-quality, innovative fabrics. Life-Tree works exclusively with fair and ecological manufacturers who are aware of their social responsibility in the countries of production - and who also produce in accordance with high ecological standards. The garments are then finished and printed at Life-Tree in Augsburg or in the region.
The products are made from combed organic cotton or high-quality blended fabrics - such as cotton with modal, Tencel or bamboo viscose. This guarantees very well tolerated, comfortable fit.
