Description

The Husqvarna 542i XPG® is the world's first rear-handle battery chainsaw with external clutch and handle heating. Its power is comparable to that of a 550 gasoline chainsaw (3 kW). The centrifugal clutch offers good control and response. Thanks to the very high chain speed of 24 m/s, fast, smooth cuts can be made in any situation. The X-PRECISION bar and the efficient SP21G chain also ensure fast, precise cuts. The 36 V battery operation brings all the advantages of cordless electric drive. The saw has been specially developed for professional tree care and is particularly suitable for extended use in cold and wet weather thanks to the heated handle.
