Description
The Donut combines a pulley block and rigging ring in one device. It allows the use of the integrated sheave for lifting or redirecting loads, as well as the use of the central opening to generate friction, even with two ropes in parallel.
The additional friction is especially helpful in dynamic rigging for controlled lowering of loads. It reduces the strain on the lowering drum and makes it easier for ground personnel to control the speed. This enables more precise movement control.
Thanks to its round, symmetrical design, the Donut is easy to position and flexible to use, even between two anchor points. The construction allows the use of multiple slings for exact alignment.
It can be used both in the tree and on the ground as a redirect point and offers a favourable weight-to-load ratio.
The inner ring and spacers are made of stainless steel, the side plates and sheave are made of aluminium, and it weighs 1.6 kg in total.

Maximum rope diameter: 14 mm with splice, 22 mm without splice.
Minimum breaking strength (MBS): 400 kN over the sheave, 300 kN over the inner ring.
Working load limit (WLL): 80 kN over the sheave, 60 kN over the inner ring.
