Description
Haberkorn developed the sharp edge rope Edger for challenging operations with high impact forces. The Edger comes in a set with a fall arrest device and a webbing shock absorber and is certified as a mobile fall arrest device in industrial climbing. The shock absorber (EN 355) reduces the occurring force to a body-bearable degree of below 6 kN. Consequently thanks to the Edger, falling over sharp wood or steel edge does not pose a great threat to the user anymore. The fall arrester is clamped to the rope under spring tension and therefore well suited for restraint systems. Core and sheath of the Edger are glued together, which avoids sheath slippage, thereby increasing significantly the Edger's lifespan.
