Description
Solid tree climbing spikes with a good price-performance ratio. The Distel Steel Classic are the lightest steel spikes on the market. They are extremely robust and durable, with interchangeable wear parts and ideal for beginners. The straight, square shaft is hot-forged and provided with a black, finely textured scratch- and impact-resistant powder coating. It transfers the force directly from the foot through the stirrup and the spike into the trunk. The padded plastic shells are height-adjustable on the shaft in 1/4 inch increments (approximately 6 mm), allowing for optimal adaptation to the leg. The Velcro strapping at the top (105 mm) and bottom (55 mm) ensures a secure, play-free, and comfortable fit. The PTFE coating of the spikes protects against corrosion and ensures that the spike can be easily removed from the tree fibre.
