Description

The Distel Alu 3.1 Velcro tree climbing spikes are particularly lightweight and have a long lifespan. The straight, square shaft is hot-forged, shot-blasted, and black anodised. Additionally, it features anti-slip ribs on the underside of the stirrup for a secure grip. The shaft transmits the force directly from the foot through the stirrup and the spike into the trunk. The comfortable, padded plastic shells are height-adjustable in 1/4 inch increments (approximately 6 mm) on the shaft, allowing for optimal adjustment to the user's leg. The Velcro straps at the top (105 mm) and bottom (55 mm) ensure a secure, play-free, and comfortable fit. The PTFE coating on the spikes protects against corrosion and ensures that the spike can be easily released from the tree fibre. Spike protectors included.
