Description
With the ECC / 3M Bracket Adapter the AKE ECC communication systems can be mounted on a helmet with a 3M hearing protection with headband once. They can also be mounted to a Protos® Integral in combination with the Protos® Radio Clip P2. Thanks to the low contact pressure, the ECC communication systems are easier to bring into the operating position, are comfortable to wear and do not open unintentionally when worn.
Attention: The adapters are not designed for multiple mounting to the 3M hearing protection.
Assembly instructions:
• carefully remove existing helmet attachment from the hearing protection capsules
• attach two adapters each to the capsules (see illustration)
• install the communication system in the Protos® Radio Clip P2 or mount to the 3M hearing protection using water pump pliers
Note: The combination of 3M hearing protection, or Protos® Radio Clip P2 and ECC communication system is not certified as hearing protection.
