Description
Sturdy self-blocking rope adjustment device with anti-panic function. Made of aluminium and stainless steel the D4 provides an innovative clamping system, based on two cams integrated with each other. The cams are made of abrasion resistant stainless steel, interlocking and providing a precisely controlled belaying at different speeds – even when under heavy load. The D4 has a 240 kg (500 lbs) working load limit making it a great choice for two-man rescue, without the need for creating extra friction. The handle mechanism is designed to rotate through 360º making its use easier and simpler. The handle itself is made of aluminium and coated with a special paint which provides extra grip. The handle rotation is accompanied by audible clicks helping the user identify its correct position. The D4 Descender provides double safety by a button locking the side plates and a locking mechanism securing the carabiner attachment point to stay locked under load with any carabiner positioning. Wear and corrosion resistant. Cam system replaceable. For semi static ropes Ø 10,5 - 11,5 mm. EN 12841:2006 C.
